- To the South of Bangkok in Ratchaburi province, it’s an early morning start for a visit to the most authentic of the old Floating Markets at Damnoen Saduak. You can get some beautiful pictures from above the jostling boats filled with flowers, fruit, food and drink, plying their trade as they have done for centuries. It’s also worth hiring a row boat around the market’s -canals for a closer look.
- We then go back towards Bangkok and stop at the Sampran Riverside Resort. Its former name was the Rose Garden, and it was one of Thailand’s very first tourist attractions.
